This Champagne hails from the prestigious "Les Petites Vignes" vineyard in Puisieulx, a Grand Cru site renowned for its chalky limestone soils. Planted in 1968 and 1969, the Massal selection Pinot Noir vines benefit from an east-facing exposure, ensuring optimal sun exposure. Cultivated according to organic and biodynamic principles, the grapes are hand-harvested at peak ripeness. The juice, obtained through gentle pressing, is fermented spontaneously in stainless steel tanks, followed by an extended aging on the lees in barrels. A perpetual reserve of Pinot Noir from the same vineyard is maintained, adding complexity and consistency to the final blend. Bottled on August 1st, 2022, without fining or filtration, this Extra Brut Champagne is a testament to the purity and elegance of Pinot Noir. The delicate dosage, derived from the perpetual reserve, balances the wine's acidity and minerality. Disgorged on April 2nd, 2024, this limited-edition cuvée offers a glimpse into the exceptional quality of the 2021 and 2019 vintages.
